2026-2027 Scholarship Opportunities

Our 2026–2027 scholarship opportunities are now open! Instead of a traditional application, students, parents, or guardians can submit an essay based on the title of each scholarship. Participants may choose to submit an essay for one or all of the available opportunities. Don’t miss this chance to share your story and showcase your goals!

Renner Academy is offering scholarship programs for families who are either enrolled or in the process of enrollment.  The scholarships are in honor of individuals, families, or businesses/organizations that believe in the work that Renner Academy does. If you are interested in providing a scholarship in honor of an individual, family, or business/organization please compete the Renner Academy Scholarship Opportunity form found HERE.

To apply for the scholarship, the parent(s)/guardian(s) and/or the child must complete an essay of at least 300 words but no more than 1,000 words. The essay should focus on on the title of the scholarship.

Essay submissions are due no later than June 1, 2026. Families who are awarded scholarships will be notified by June 26, 2027.

The William Rushing Scholarship

This scholarship is in memory of William Rushing. He was a renowned professional artist and was a commissioned Kentucky colonel for his contribution in western art. William Rushing showed in numerous prestigious, invitational art shows around the country and was featured in galleries in the United States and Canada. He had a love of art that he wanted to share, often teaching kids art classes free of charge. He believed that you could achieve your dreams by believing in yourself, your talent, working hard, and never giving up.

The Walton Ranch Bird Hunting Scholarship

The Walton Ranch Bird Hunting Scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate dedication, responsibility, and a strong connection to outdoor traditions such as bird hunting. The scholarship also reflects a belief that children with dyslexia and other learning differences can thrive when given the appropriate learning environment and tools to achieve their goals. This scholarship encourages students to continue developing their skills, deepen their appreciation for wildlife and conservation, and pursue their goals with focus and determination.

The Fealy Custom Guitar Scholarship

This scholarship is in recognition of neurodiverse children that not only struggle with language based learning differences but also other learning differences such as Dyscalculia, ADHD, ASD. The Fealy family believes that every child deserves to thrive in their learning environment. They have witnessed the difference a tailored education offers when children are met where they are in their learning journey and given the space to flourish. This scholarship is in recognition of students with diverse learning needs who work hard to overcome challenges and continue growing each day. The Cantu Family believes that every child deserves to feel understood, supported, and capable in their education. They value the importance of meeting students where they are and helping them build confidence in their own abilities. The Modern Woodmen Scholarship

The Modern Woodmen Scholarship reflects a strong commitment to giving back to the community through the fraternal efforts of Modern Woodmen. The organization supports meaningful causes that create a positive impact, including educational initiatives and community fundraising efforts. Modern Woodmen also offers opportunities to provide matching funds, similar to sponsorships, for nonprofit organizations. This mission is especially meaningful due to the impact dyslexia has on many families, highlighting the importance of supporting schools that serve children with dyslexia and help them succeed.
